Making an Application
For people wishing to travel the Canning Stock Route (CSR) for tourism and/or sightseeing purposes you can apply for a permit by clicking the button below.
All travellers enter and travel the CSR at their own risk. You should ensure that you are adequately prepared. Please note, general public access is not readily granted and government approvals may be required for activities other than tourism. A maximum percentage of your permit fee will go toward looking after the important environmental and cultural values of the land through which the CSR runs.
SEcondary Permit
A separate permit is required to visit and/or camp in the Paruku IPA (Lake Gregory), Lake Stretch and Sturt Creek.
Permission to access to Glen-Ayle, Granite Peak and Cunyu stations is also needed. Please contact the Wiluna Shire and/or station owners for further information.
